The other night I posted up the final logo/description for the 16th "Pre-Fab" title for Project Breakthrough.

I'm thinking that 16 Pre-Fab titles for creators to choose from, and 4 "Wildcard" slots for creator owned tales would be a nice, even 20 stories. Four stories per "issue", also collected as a big ol' anthology. (See other posts for explanation, price point thoughts, etc.)

Of course, this is malleable. If there ends up being seven creator owned tales that "make it", then of course room would be made. Four is not a written-in-stone number that can never be changed.

By that same token, if for some reason four can't be found (Ha ha) then there are other pre-fabs on deck to swap in. For example, let's say everything's taken, but one of the last people onboard desperately wants to go pre-fab. No problem, time to bring in one of the secret options. :)


As more material is complete, the InComics.com site will become more filled out, and you'll see more than a short description when you click the various logos.

Just checked out the site which looks fantastic. The only character that I'm at all iffy about is 'Roid which seems like someone is going to take him down with a big bottle of Preparation H. :P

Sounds like a good set up all around though. When can we start calling dibs on the pre-fabs? ;D

And if it's now I'd like to get dibs on Ghost Orchid.

It's a bit early to call dibs, so let's just say it's "expressing interest". XD lol

Yeah, the double (triple!) meaning with 'Roid is intentional. Asteroid, Steroid... and... that. It's sort of a beat-em-up over-the-top space action title, so a little humor is allowed. :)

In that case, I'd like to "express interest" (heh) in Gremlin. Second choice: Quiz. Sane is the most interesting to me out of all of them, but I think I can write those two better.

Old Soul and Mothman sound really cool too. Can't wait to see more of those.  :)

Ah so like Lobo when he was actually good. Fun  ;D

Ok well then I'd like to express interest in Ghost Orchid, King Power, and Mortal Wounds. I think those could be alot of fun.

If I had to list interest..

1. Sane - hands down the concept I would choose to write
2. Mortal Wounds/Old Soul - both of these could be interesting to write in an Invincible style comic
3. 'Roid - space opera + action = GL mixed with Lobo
4. Blood Agents - X-Files meets Creature Commandos
5. Mothman/The Gremlin/The Quiz - all have potential to be Deadpool/The Punisher style characters
