NEW Mutants
« Topic Start: August 10, 2011, 09:44:53 AM »
I collected the New Mutant as s kid because I wanted to collect a comic from the beginning and it wasn't hard for me to do so with this comic, more importantly I could afford it at the time. Its a spin-off of the x-men. I generally like the characters and found it easy to follow the stories and plots. I really liked cannonball. There first appearance was in Marvel Graphic Novel #4. Any one know about this comic? I recently decided to start collecting again my main effort going to collect this comic book again and try to re-capture my childhood.

As a kid I really liked Warlock... until they did that weird merge thing with Cypher.

That ruined it for me, and afaik they never undid it. :(

Full disclosure: I might be remembering things a bit wrong. Heh.

Warlock was awesome

Unlike his barbarian war-hardened race he had compassion

In Wahiawa Hawaii is the setting of my greatest comicbook moment, I was in a local comicbook store and a Guy actually walked in with spiderman #1. I couldn't believe it when he let me hold it. I was only around 14 I think, it was the greatest thing that ever happen to me up to that point.

I don't know warlock seemed pretty powerful, magma also, I'd hate to get burned by her. Wolfie was hot I had many perverse teenage dreams about her. Also the hot native american.

Cannonball was also invincible while fired-up, and depending on howlong sunspot sun bathed he could be pretty powerful in his own right.

Have you seen how Deadpool has blown up, recently? He's the modern-day Wolverine with all the crossovers and seperate titles he has. -_-

And with all that he still gets played onscreen by Ryan Renolds. XD

Theres the Deadpool Corps.

The members are Deadpool, a female Deadpool, a child Deadpool, a dog version of Deadpool, and Deadpool's zombified head from another dimension.

No shit.
